So anyone who knows me, knows that I’m slightly obsessed with salmon. So what better way than to express my obsession than by combining salmon with tuna for a bite sized treat.

Checklist of ingredients:

– 1 tin of salmon

– 1 tin of tuna

– 1 small bunch of coriander leaves

– 4 tablespoons of self raising flour

– 1 tsp of tumeric powder, salt and jeera

– 1 tbsp of hot madras curry powder

– 1/2 tsp of chilli powder

– 1 egg

– 2 tbsp of vegetable oil

– 1 onion

– 1 green chilli

Method:

1) Chop the onion, green chilli and coriander leaves into small pieces. Once finely chopped, add altogether to one bowl.

2) Crack open the egg and add to the bowl of onions, green chilli and coriander.  Then open the tins of tuna and salmon and pour into the bowl.

3) Add in 1 tsp of turmeric powder, salt and jeera, 1 tbsp of hot madras curry powder, 4 tbsps of self raising flour and 1/2 tsp of chilli powder to the bowl.

4) Once all ingredients are added to the bowl, mix with your hands until it feels like a soft dough.

6) Place the patties into the frying pan and turn over regularly until both sides become crispy and brown. This will usually be for around 10 minutes. Once done, you are ready to serve with a salad or savoury rice.
